Chili Almonds

Image © Katie Quinn Davies
Another quick an easy snack I’ve made a few times is one I originally found in a Jamie Oliver recipe book years ago. These chili almonds are great as a dinner party pre-drinks snack and like the chickpeas below, very quick to make and only contain three ingredients; almonds, chili and sea salt.
All you do is throw as a few handfuls of almonds in a frying pan, add a teaspoon of dried chili flakes, a good pinch of sea salt and toss them around a frying pan until well coated and almonds start to brown. Then take off the heat and serve in a bowl. Easy peasy!

Such a simple snack but looks like it’s packed full of flavour!
yum! seems easy and delicious

Yummy, I love quick and easy snacks!
I could make those right now! Love these kind of recipies.
Invited to a BBQ tomorrow so will be trying both of those recipes…Lemon Delicious has been haunting my dreams and may have to make that before too long…
mmm, i want some!
mmm, i want some!
mmm, i want some!
I love spiced nuts (that’s what *she* said), and usually add the extra step of beating an eggwhite and mixing that through the nuts with chilli or rosemary or whatever plus salt, then into the oven until golden.
Great, now I want nuts. I blame you!
