A few years ago, when I was visiting friends in New York, I bought a bottle of Absolut Brooklyn, an apple- and ginger-flavoured vodka that came in an incredibly cool bottle depicting a typical Brooklyn brownstone building. We enjoyed many a night sipping it whilst sitting on the rooftop of my friend’s apartment overlooking the Empire State Building. Great memories, and my inspiration for this cocktail.

I love this recipe. Although I would prefer it with no alcohol. This is a great idea for when you have a small dinner party. Thank you

We love this cocktail and were bummed when they stopped selling the Absolut Brooklyn. BUT they still offer it! It’s been renamed Absolut Orient Apple.
