    The colours on this are absolutely beautiful. If I were to make the compote, how long do you think it might store in a kilner jar in the fridge? x

      Hi Eleanor – thanks! I would say it would last for 2-3 days (maybe 4) in a sterilised jar, I’d rather not say more just in case ;)

    I substituted half a cup of the buttermilk with beer and added 1 tsp of cardamom – yummy! Thanks for the recipe – my boys are going to love it!
