Spicy Strozzapreti Pasta with Chorizo and Roast Capsicum

Hello all *Phew* what an utterly manic week (!) I have been working like a crazy woman for the past few days juggling approx. 3 shoots per day and trying to get work and general life in place before my better half and I head off for a long weekend in our old haunt of Melbourne. It will be so bizarre being a ‘visitor’ after 4 years living there and knowing my little house is there with tenants in it and I can’t potter about the place and see what (dreadful most probably) state my garden is in *_*
I am really looking forward to a break away and catching up with good mates and family, the latter whom live down the coast, where we will stay for most of time in a town called Mt Martha – a pretty little village on the coast nearby the fantastic seaside town of Mornington which has some great shops, restaurants and cafés etc. It also is close to some wonderful antique store and vintage shops where I hope to pick up some new props and styling goodies and stop of en-route for a wine tasting or two in the local vineyards of pretty Redhill and surrounds.
Until then, a new recipe I made up myself this week whilst trying to juggle dinner with a shoot for a local deli – another leftover concoction which resulted in a resounding big ‘thumbs up’ from all who tasted it
