What a week! *Phew*
Wow, what an utterly crazy past 2 weeks…. *eeek*! Thankfully the mad panic of the last 14 or so days has started to calm down work-wise for me and this week I can finally get back to focusing on some new recipes for the blog. Over the coming days I’ll be cooking and photographing some wonderful recipes I’ve been using for quite a few months now and which are permanent fixtures in my ‘fail-safe dinner party recipe notebook’.
I have a fantastic; Candied pancetta, goats cheese and aged balsamic saladwhich I’ll be posting up tomorrow, along with a mouthwatering; Lamb shank pie with rosemary and red wine jus. I also hope to feature some more of your reader recipes and I have a wonderful take on Echo’s Red wine stewed rhubarb dish which I featured a week or two ago – this time it’s served chilled and layered with the addition of crumbly Italian amaretti cookies. Oh and keep your eyes peeled too for my Roasted rack of lamb with minted herb and pine nut crust which I’ll be serving with some yummy kipfler potatoes which are served in a rosemary and garlic aioli dressing…
