BELOW IS A COLLECTION OF BARS AND RESTAURANTS I PARTICULARLY LIKE IN SYDNEY and IN INNER WEST AREAS. i LIKE THEM FOR THEIR AMBIANCE, FOOD + DRINK OFFERINGS BUT GENERALLY, JUST THE OVERALL FEEL OF THE PLACES. I'm really not one at all for super modern, bright, posery/pretentious bars or restaurants, preferring dimly lit, ambient places with loads of character and funky things to look at rather than the people and, most importantly – great music!

Dive bars have always been 'my thing', but I'm always up for any place with a bit of old-school taste that oozes a sense of unique individuality. IN GOOD FAITH, I'VE ALSO ADDED A DIRECTORY OF SWISHIER PLACES FOR THOSE SPECIAL OCCASIONS AND WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE A BIT OF A SPLURGE!
